Code
in Regulation 12(2)
Members
who have a prejudicial interest may attend a meeting only
for the purposes of making representations answering questions
or giving evidence. Members have the same rights as members
of the public to speak at a meeting but they must leave the
room before the discussion and vote. It follows that if there
is no public right to speak in a particular situation the
member with a prejudicial interest would have not right of
attendance.
